After this lesson we'll have learned half of the superwords. Very good! ¡kwin krubäte!
- aune: and
- o: or
- akwa: but
- arato: also, too
- kwrere: similar
- erere: same
- mada: another
- ñodre: for example
- aibe: only
- angwane: then, when
- Erere: Used to compare things that are the same. For instance: "Ti run erere" > "I/my father same" > "Just like my father". O también: "Ye erere" > "Just like that"
- Kwrere: Used to compare things that are similar. For instance, "Mä bä kwrere" > "You form similar" > "Similar aspect to you" or "Looks like you"
- Angwane: It means "then, when". In some teaching materials I've read it also means "and" but I personally have always heard it used for "when" and sometimes for "then". For instance, "Mä nämane sete angwane, mä nämane sribire krubäte" > "When you were there, you were working a lot". For what I've seen there is no exact match in Ngäbere for the condicional word "if", so "angwane" is used very often in condicional sentences. For instance, "If you work, you'll have food for your family" > "When you work, food will be with you for your family" > "Mä tä sribire angwane, mrö tärä mäkwe mä mräkätre kräke"
